My first week back on track at Pajama Professional has been quite successful. Stats are all up and my sense of purpose and balance has been restored. I know that I made the right choice in re-dedicating myself to this blog. I really do love it. Anyway, enough about me. Let’s jump straight to what everyone else was blogging about this week.

  • Chris Brogan guests on ProBlogger explaining how he uses Twitter to promote his blog. I have just recently started seriously using Twitter as a marketing tool so this post was very timely for me. If you aren’t using Twitter or are just interested in learning more about it, I highly recommend you catch Chris’ post.
  • John Kendrick has a review of a great application for GTD called Nozbe. I missed it during my GTD application review and it looks very cool. So read John’s review and then be sure to use his links to sign up (he’ll get commission if you sign up for a paid membership) so he gets credit for the introduction.
  • Darren Rowse never fails to publish several killer posts in a week. I guess that’s why he’s considered the master. This week, I really enjoyed, 20 Types of Pages that Every Blogger Should Consider. The first few might seem obvious, but it’s always nice to hear Darren’s view of things. And there are some very interesting page ideas on this list.
  • Nathania Johnson (editor of Social Media Buttefly) guests on Copyblogger with Three Ways to Maximize Your Twitter Time for Networking, Marketing and Fun. The title might be a mouthful, but the article is concise and offers some very good tips for making the best and most useful impression on Twitter.
  • This link isn’t exactly to a specific blog post, it is to a blog with great Free Wallpaper for your PC. Its owner posted a comment on my site and, as I almost always do, I followed his link. The blog hosts all kinds of cool digital images you can use for wallpaper. Even if it isn’t your style, you have to marvel at the detail in images like the drowning chopper. Definitely check it out.
  • Andy Beard has an excellent study posted regarding the reliability of Twitter clients. The results are quite bleak and I’m really rethinking my current Twitter application because of it. If you are using Twitter as a serious marketing tool, you definitely need to read Andy’s study.
  • Alex Shalman shares the basics of the Law of Positioning. It is sort of like the Law of Attraction - as my favorite 12-year-old would put it - on steroids. With the Law of Positioning, attraction is just one part of the four pieced puzzle. This is a great read for those of you interested in personal development.
  • Sticking with the personal development topic, Steve Pavlina discusses inner and outer resourcefulness like only Steve could. He really breaks it down, explaining how important it is to cultivate strong inner resources and really go with what inspires you. “Stick with the path that has a heart, even if it scares you.” Beautifully written post.

And, with that killer post, I will end this week’s Trip Around the Blogosphere. As always, I hope you enjoyed reading. If you have a blog or a post you’d like to see on the Trip, just leave a comment and I’ll check it out. In fact, even if you don’t say that’s why you are leaving a comment, I’ll most likely still go check out your blog. Have a fantastic week!
