A new site launched this week called IM Answers. I haven’t had a whole lot of time to check it out, but I wanted to tell you about it right away because I think this is one of those opportunities that you should jump on ASAP.

Still in beta, IM Answers is a Question and Answer community site for internet marketing. It doesn’t just have the Q&A features, though, it also has groups and user-creating pages. Here’s how I see it:

Yahoo! Answers + Hubpages = IM Answers

Here’s why you need to jump in quick and get involved. Some of the prime page and answer topics are going to be tackled quickly. If you can get in there and grab a few of those, you could be looking at a huge amount of advertising for yourself and your blog or website. For example, as of this moment the page title and URL “SEO” has not been taken by anyone. And, no, I didn’t take it. I know enough SEO to get by, but not enough to feel comfortable managing a whole page about SEO on IM Answers. I chose a few names closer to my stronger areas of expertise.

The thing is, you don’t have to be prepared to build the page right now. You just need to create the page in order to reserve the name. Then you can take your time making a killer search engine optimized page that everyone will love. Especially the search engines.

In case you don’t already know this, search engines and community sites like this are soul mates. Just think about Hubpages and Squidoo for a moment. Google love those sites. The problem is, the very best keywords are snapped up quickly by those of us who know what a great opportunity these sites provide for building traffic, lists, preeminence… all of it.

So head on over to IM Answers and get involved. Grab some good keyword pages and, if you can, answer a question or two. This site is just waiting to explode and you want to at the heart of that explosion.
