Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Since Podpress and Audio Player refuse to work with the new version of Wordpress, I am trying out BluBrry’s PowerPress. I have been having problems getting it to stream, but I just installed a new audio player so we’ll see how it goes…

Update: It works!! Hooray. Now the problem is that I like the new audio player I installed, but I can’t get rid of the old one. Can anyone help me with that? Thanks!

i just think that podcasts, and well including videos, are great mediums to incorporate into blog sites…each has its own advantage that should help the site deliver what it intends to showcase… if all these mediums (text, audio, video) are used on blogs, and if their potential could be harnessed then it’s very likely that the quality of the blog will improve… about that question you have on not being able to get rid of the old audio player, it couldn’t get erased by deleting the program, the usual way? if so, can you describe what exactly happens?

We’re glad that you like the Blubrry Powerpress Wordpress plugin.

It appears the other player that is appearing in your posts is from the WP Audio Player plugin. The WP Audio Player should have settings that will allow you to disable the player from appearing above your posts. The latest version of the WP Audio Player 2.0 has some really cool options as well, may be worth updating.
