Growing a site like this takes time, but once it catches on, I expect to see dramatic progression. Zoc Doc has investors and a very solid site to build on. The idea is very simple: you search for a doctor or dentist in your area, read reviews, select one and book an appointment. You even have the option of entering insurance information so the provider will have your data before you even speak directly with anyone in the office.

Despite the fact that the idea is simple, it is quite brilliant. Booking health care appointments is one of the few things I am not currently able to do online. Sure, my doctor has an email address, but I have to call if I want to schedule anything. With Zoc Doc it’s just a quick search and submit and you’re all done.
