Based on my own personal algorithm I have predicted that today is the day for the Google PageRank Update. Given the erractic timetable for updates, it is essentially impossible to target a specific date. But today is my chosen guess. Given this, we may only have a number of hours to get those links going so here’s how to make them count:
- Courtney Tuttle has some great coverage on Page Rank. The first article of his you need to read is 3 Easy Ways to Rock the Next PageRank Update
- Follow that article up with Court’s advice on how to prepare for the next pagerank update.
- If you don’t feel like doing any legwork, you can pop over to iPageRank and purchase some quality backlinks.
- If this whole pagerank business has your head spinning, stop at WebWorkshop for a primer called:What is Pagerank?
- For a whole bunch of in-depth information, check out SEO Chat’s Google Optimization Help page.
- A list of resources about pagerank wouldn’t be complete without a link toBuild Page Rank. They offer free articles and paid services to enable you to increase your pagerank.
This is, of course, a quick list. There are literally thousands (if not millions) of sites about pagerank. Basically, it is a numbers game. The numbers being counted are links: inbound and outbound both make an impact. Of course, no one knows exactly what pagerank is made of, but we can at least rule out sugar and spice and everything nice. Here’s to me winning my bet with myself. Update today Google!
