I am an internet content writer, graphic designer, self-taught coder and all-around tech geek. My other passion in life is writing. Blogging has allowed me to meld my love for words with my love for technology. When I'm not online, I like to read, play my Xbox 360 and paint..

Hi. My name is Sara Christensen. I recently left my 9 to 5 to devote my waking hours to building my online empire. This is, of course, a far cry from the Great American Novel for which I should be using my Bachelor’s degree in English. However, I have always been a sucker for technology and, as such, I’m a self-taught coder (sql, html, css, php), graphic artist and web designer.
Creating and editing web content (in the form of blogs, sales copy, ebooks and many other types of websites and information products) has allowed me to find the perfect marriage between my equal passions for technology and writing. I hope to someday support myself fully with the streams of income I have begun to grow online. My newest endeavour, Pajama Professional: Tis is the blog I started when I began my journey as a serious internet entrepreneur in Winter 2007. I wanted to document the trials and successes I experienced while building my online presence and income. The purpose of the blog is partly to have a record of what I have done, but it is also a way for me to teach others what I have learned. I like to offer my opinions, ideas and I hope to save readers some time by helping them to avoid mistakes I have made or dodge roadblocks more quickly. Learning and teaching are also great passions of mine and so Pajama Professional is really the piece of online real estate in which I am most emotionally invested. Despite the fact that this site makes up nearly 0% of my online income, I still feel that it is 100% worth my time.
Pajama Professional Dot Mobi: I recently bought the Dot Mobi version of Pajama Professional and I think all bloggers should seriously consider doing this. It is super-easy to create a mobile-friendly version of your blog and the number of folks accessing the internet via cell phones, smart phones and other mobile devices is increasing exponentially each year. If you are still thinking about whether or not creating a mobile-friendly version of your blog is worth it, check out some of the cold, hard numbers in this article: Dot Mobi: Is Your Website Mobile-Friendly.
Choose A Niche: This blog details a seven step process for online niche success. I originally just posted the seven steps and some resources, but lately I have been added more resources and am considering expanding the site to contain some video tutorials and more in-depth material about all the steps involved in creating, marketing and being successful with small, super-targeted niche sites.
Audio at Home: Just as it sounds, this is a blog about home audio. I don’t update or market this one nearly as much as I should. Ultimately, the plan for this site is to fill it with high-quality content over time and eventually sell it. With such a killer domain name, all it really needs to take off is someone with serious home audio passion running it. Though I enjoy the topic, I don’t believe I have enough love for it to give this site the energy it deserves to become a true success.
Sara L Christensen Dot Com: Currently not much of anything, this site will ultimately become my portfolio site. For now, I’m just happy to have secured my name.
Note: Most of the web real estate I own and manage contains small niche sites created either with WordPress or Build a Niche Store software. I love to share information about creating, managing and marketing niche sites, but I do not generally publicize the niches, URLs or any other specific information about these sites. Of course, nothing is secret anymore really so if you really were dying to know I’m sure you could find them all. Just remember, when it comes to niche sites, the same general strategies apply in nearly any niche. So it isn’t about copying a site itself, it is about following a tried and true method of success.
