Vic Franqui is the Blogger Unleashed. He is the real deal. I know he rubs a lot of people the wrong way and I don’t want to make any enemies, but I honestly love this guy. Not only does he know what he’s doing to make money online, he also shares it and calls out the fakers. Seriously, if you are new to making money online, start with Vic.

I have always said that you should never ever lie about anything on your blog. Not only is it wrong to lie, but someone will eventually catch you and reveal you for who or what you really are. If you are very unfortunate, that someone might just be Vic.

One of the reasons why there are no Pajama Professional info-products is for precisely the reasons Vic states: how can you sell a product about making money online unless you really are making a ton of money online? This is a blog about sharing what I learn and also my own original ideas. I consider it to be a useful resource, but I am by no means an expert yet. I know that one day I will have an ebook or some other paid products, but right now it just wouldn’t seem right to say I’m here to gain experience and then try to sell myself as an expert. Newbies who do a bit of affiliate marketing or make a few cents with pay-per-click and then immediately write an ebook and charge others for it are all over the place these days. It’s dishonest and shameful and it’s nice to see someone stand up for the brand-newbies who buy that sh!t.

Vic is a man who will risk people thinking he’s “mean” to warn others against bloggers who sell products with only profit in mind. In his video responding to a comment on Caroline Middlebrook’s blog, Vic has a lot to say about the newbie blogger. Toward the end of the video, he makes it clear that the goal of the video is to help others:

“I’m not looking to gain attention or gain fame by bashing this dumb b!tch. The only reason I do it is because there 1,800 people that are hurting themselves.”

Don’t let his brash, profanity-laced videos scare you away. Vic is a true hacker from way back. This dude cut his teeth on a Commodore 64 (me too, Vic!), took his chances for a bit as a black-hatter and now he shares his knowledge and develops resources to help others make money online using blogs.

The first post I read of Vic’s was actually Another Dumbfuck is Born LMAO!!! (I don’t usually have profanity in the blog, but I don’t want to censor an anchor link. Sorry if the word offends you.) in which he discussed Marc Galeazzi’s purchase of One Man’s Goal. Regardless of my own opinions on the purchase, my first impression was that Vic was just sort of randomly attacking Marc. As I learned more about Vic’s almost vigilante approach to helping those who are new or less successful at making money online, I changed my mind. While he might come off a bit harsher than necessary, he certainly got people’s attention. If he can save some poor young guy from spending 10k on an “experiment,” then I think his delivery is absolutely justified.

After spending a good portion of the last few days watching his videos, I have found him to be a very likable, honorable guy. Vic reminds those watching that before you decide who is really out of line, you ought to take a look at their actions. Vic’s actions show that he has his readers’ success and best interests at heart.

On a bit of a side note, I discovered through my reading that Vic is friends and partners with Courtney Tuttle. Anyone who reads this blog regularly knows that I am a huge fan of Court’s and I have learned a lot from him. Desite the difference in presentation style between Vic and Court, I’m not surprised that they work together on projects like Blogging Zoom. Both of them clearly care about sharing helpful information and not wasting readers’ time. It’s refreshing.

Whether you love him or you hate him, you can’t deny that Vic Franqui is honest and knowledgable. You might disagree with his delivery, but I sure haven’t heard anyone complain about the killer tactics he freely discusses on his blog. I consider Vic an advocate. He might be a bit rough around the edges, but he is the kind of guy who, instead of giving you the shirt off his back, would hand you the tools and teach you how to make it yourself. All the while warning you against the guy up the block who sells tshirts that fall apart in the washing machine. As Vic often says, “It is what it is.” And he is what he is. And he’s pretty damn cool.

  • Thanks for all the great comments everyone! I think you all helped support my points that (1) people definitely have strong opinions about Vic and (2) he offers up great information.

Vic, thanks for stopping by. As soon as I read that comment from Forrest I knew you'd be around to refute. =) I'm very much looking forward to your video - clearly my readers love you and I'm sure they'll love it as well.

  • There is no one else I know of online who is giving out as much valuable info as he is for free. Most eBooks don't have 1/100th of the info he gives out.

Thank you so much for your review and I am sorry it took me so long to get to making a comment the past 2 weeks as you know the days are long with the network upgrade. I am also making the video response tonight and should have to you this weekend.

Again thank you and to your success!

  • Nice place you have here, Sara. Coincidentally, I'm in my pajamas as I type this :)
I am completely on board with Vic and his advice. A lot of people needed a wakeup call and Vic gave it to them.
Profanity does bother some people. If you are serious about making money online you might want to overlook it long enough to hear him out.
  • Hi, Victor is one of my many online friends. I also cut my teeth on the C64 (and then C128 later) before hopping onto the Internet before it was called the Internet. Unfortunately, I was in military at the time, so I didn't have the luxury of time to spend doing the things he did.

Anyway, I stopped by to check out your "do follow" status and to add your blog to my list. Thanks.

  • Vic has some good advice. i just don't like long videos (profanity does not help).
His sales video a few weeks ago was fantastic. Maybe the best video on sales I have seen anywhere.

  • Long time no see!

I've heard a lot of hype about Vic; I read his blog briefly, left a few comments, and haven't returned since reading his response to them. There's a danger in vigilance ... I hope this doesn't sound disrespectful, but Vic strikes me as a person who's so used/eager to calling out fakers, that he sometimes sees them where they don't really exist. But more to the point: like anybody, he occasionally makes a factual error, but unlike most people ( the ones who've earned my respect, anyway ) he doesn't take kindly to having these errors pointed out to him. As you said ... it rubs me the wrong way.

  • I sent email to Vic and his friend Griz, and believe it or not they both replied the same day and helped me with my questions. Its unbelievable to see something like that, especially when you know they have bunch of email coming everyday.

  • I think he simply has no desire ti sugarcoat things-he says what he thinks and has no need to be "nice". Some may dislike his approach and the way he presents things (I found what I've seen there refreshing to be honest) but doubt anyone can honestly disagree with what he says. Simply facts are facts no matter whether you present them in a way that's "politically correct" or not.

  • You say "Whether you love him or you hate him, you can’t deny that Vic Franqui is honest and knowledgable. "
I think you can only like him. he does have some fun ways to try to get a little shock value in his speech, but I feel like he uses his fingers to make quotation marks when he swears. His facial expressions rock, and that is going to bring more people back than his shock-value.
He is smart and has done a lot - good man to listen to.

  • his line that,"how can you sell a product about making money online unless you really are making a ton of money online?" really makes the point. sometimes one has to be a bit practical in handling things. i even got a lot of info from courtney tuttle. was awesome and helpful.
  • Cool post Sara, like I said on your previous post, I have followed Vic, Court and Grizz for a few months now and have learnt alot of stuff.

I read most of Grizzs backlog yesterday and learnt so cool stuff, these guys definately care for the newbie and spend alot of their own time helping people out without expecting it back.

Reading these 3 blogs is really helping me decide on what future plans to make with regards to building sites.
