I just switched to WordPress a couple of weeks ago and am still in the honeymoon stage with it. I want to spend all my time with it, it’s much better than anything I’ve ever had before and I can’t find anything that irritates me about it. I’m sure this stage won’t last forever, but I know I’ll never be seriously disappointed with WordPress; there are just too many great things about it.

When I converted over, I spent a ton of time customizing this template, choosing fun plug-ins and all that stuff. With the help of various tutorials and a good amount of trial and error, I was able to get this looking exactly as I wanted it to. This evening I stumbled across a very basic, but helpful tutorial on About.com that I thought I’d share. I think this would be useful for anyone who has recently switched to WordPress or is thinking about switching or starting a new blog. It shows you step by step how to get it all set up and it also, by proxy, shows how user friendly and wonderful WordPress can be. Enjoy!
