There are a lot of great WordPress developers out there. Yesterday I decided I needed a plugin that would create printer-friendly versions of my posts. I found a very easy-to-install, user-friendly one at Lester Chan Dot Net.
Lester has a ton of great plugins available for free. He’s a great programmer and you can find his list of plugins here: Lester Chan WordPress Plugins
WP-Print works great, if you go to the single-post page for this post you can see it at the end of the page. After installing it, I went back to Lester’s site and realized he has some really killer plugins available. Here are my seven favorite Lester Chan WordPress Plugins.
WP-Print
I explained this one above. It took me less than five minutes to install and setup and I think a printing option is pretty cool.
WP-PageNavi
This creates a numbered page navigation for you blog instead of the “next” and “previous” links.
WP-PluginsUsed
This allows you to show a list of all the plugins you are currently using on your WordPress blog. You can see mine here: WordPress Plugins I Use. This is way cool and I wish everyone would use it so I could figure out what neat plugins I’m missing out on. I also think this is a great way to give some link love to WordPress plugin developers.
WP-Polls
An easy way to run polls on your blog.
WP-DBManager
It is important to optimize your WordPress database for many reasons. While you can do it using PHP MyAdmin from C-Panel, it isn’t the most user-friendly operation. With WP-DBManager you get a plugin that is designed specifically for optimizing a WordPress database. It also allows you to schedule backup and optimization
WP-EMail
Allows blog readers to easily recommending a post from your blog via email.
WP-Stats
This allows you to display various statistics on a page or post of your blog. Not only is this plugin an easy way for you to see various stats, it’s an easy way for potential advertisers to find out what they need to know. You can see my stat page here: Pajama Professional Statistics
So there you have it, my favorite plugins from Lester “GaMeRz” Chan. If you use WordPress I really suggest you go check out Lester Chan Dot Net because it’s full of great stuff. And, Lester, if you read this, thanks for providing such awesome plugins for free.
