November Goals

Posted in Goals, Success

Jamie, my favorite young entrepreneur reminded me that I should be documenting my goals. I have not done that in the past, but I think he is right. It will hold me accountable and keep me focused on what I set out to do.

The list Jamie come up with for his goals is challenging, so I think I will try to challenge myself as well. These goals will apply to this blog as well as the other one I am trying to really get off the ground.

  • Social Networking – No, I’m not copying Jamie. I just happen to have the same first goal as he does. After my experience with social networking this morning, I want to look into different ways to use these sites and, of course, share that stuff here.
  • Increase Feed Subscribers – I hear the more feed subcribers you get, the easier it is to get more and I’m starting to believe it. It took me months to get 20 and then I doubled that and then some in the last couple of weeks. I hope to add another 25 by the end of November
  • Establish Regular Schedules and Stick to Them – In October, I set a goal to post twice a day to PJ Pro and I did a fairly good job of sticking with it. But not good enough. I also have another regular guest post each week and the other blog I want to pay more attention to. I will sit down tonight and set up a weekly posting schedule and keep track of when and where I am posting. Then I will stick with it for all of November.
  • Pay Attention to My List – Awhile back, I signed up for Aweber and started some aggressive list-building maneuvers. I have let that fall of for the last couple of months. I haven’t lost any subscribers lately, but I haven’t gained any either. I need to add regular newsletters to my posting schedule so I contact my subscribers more than once a month.
  • Complete my Info-Product – I have been working on an info-product for the past month or so, but I do not give it the time it deserves. If I set my posting schedule, I should be able to find time to complete it this month. I still haven’t decided if I will sell it or give it away as a list-building tool. I think I’ll leave that decision for September.

As usual, I feel much less overwhelmed now that I have a to-do list. They are actually quite lofty goals considering it’s already the 7th. The posting schedule and the info-product completion may be a bit much, but I am going to go for it. Thanks, for the great idea, Jamie.
