I signed up for PayPerPost right after I launched my blog. A lot of popular bloggers were saying good things about it so I thought I would sign up. Then I realized that your blog had to be over 90 days old to be accepted. Darn. This ended up being a good thing, though. By the time the 90 days were up, Google had updated pagerank so I was approved by payperpost as a PR 3. Not too shabby for a new blog.

Since then I have written sponsored posts on and off. I would recommend the service to anyone who has a decent PR (that sucks, I know, but payperpost uses it) and wants to make some extra money. With my PR3 blog, I generally make between $5 and $35 a post, but it is possible to make much more. It is amazing how quickly the posts add up to a substantial paycheck.

I have always been paid in full on time and have found payperpost customer service to be helpful when needed. The site itself is user-friendly, making it easy to find posts and connect with other bloggers if you want.

With its easy-of-use and many opportunities, PayPerPost is a great monetization option for any blogger willing to write a few extra posts a week to boost their income.

  • There are some other good sites out there that pay for posts as well. I plan to write about them later in the week.

  • Thanks for reminding me about this, Sara. Although I've read much about it, I never took a close look.

I guess I'll add it to my ever growing list of things to do once I launch my new design. :)
