I really like your redesign and the original new features. I'm bummed that the upcoming posts feature isn't a plugin, but it definitely should be. It is a killer idea. I have always wanted to write a Wordpress plugin as well. My best friend has a book with a chapter about how to do it, I just haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
