Clearly my Google Pagerank prediction was off the mark. Rather than wallow in my poor math skills or Google’s lack of predictability, I spent some time catching up on my feeds. Here’s what you shouldn’t have missed recently:
- Papa Joe has a great article about building a list with giveaway events. He also has a great list of current giveaways accepting JV partners. Listen to Papa Joe and just do it! I’d like to stress that having a reliable autoresponder is crucial to your success. Papa Joe recommends Aweber and so do I.
- Court Tuttle has an original article discussing keyword difficulty. If you are thinking of starting up a new niche site, I highly recommend checking this article out first.
- Liz Strauss of Successful Blog has a solid article on why doing what we love is solid business thinking. Liz argues that rather than being self-indulgence, doing something that you love will allow you to bring your best to your work. I completely agree. Who ever said work could not be fun?
- Dean Hunt guest blogs at John Cow Dot Com about how he got an article on the front page of Digg in less than 48 hours. It was part of a bet and makes a great story as well as a very informative post.
And thus ends this trip around the blogosphere. I hope you’ve enjoyed the glimpses at some of my favorite blogs. If you have a blog you’d like to see featured in one of my trips around the blogosphere, you can use my contact form to let me know.
