MomStart is a blog I read regularly for one of my niche sites. It is written and maintained by Louise Bishop. She shares stories, reviews products and generally discusses her passions.

Right now MomStart is running a Contest for a Free Nook. All you have to do is tweet about the contest and then link to your Twitter status in the comments. Louise has also offered up some ways to earn extra entries by submitting to various social media sites and contest blogs.

This is one of those win-win situations where Louise gets traffic and someone gets a really cool prize. If you want it to be you then:

  • My Mom is my best friend. She loves me even when I don’t deserve it. She talks to me every day on the phone. She helps me with my baby any time I need her. She is the matriarch of our family. She holds us all together and bridges the gap between generations. She is my Mom and my hero. I hope she wins these lovely earrings!

  • Oooops :( Seems I am too late for the nook.
  • The last time I checked, Barnes and Noble was charging full price for their ebooks for the iPhone. Unless they match Amazon?s lower prices, I am not interested.
  • Hi Momstart is very great blog and all blog is very informative and also very impressive share this type of blog again by again.
  • I love my nook, too. My husband ordered it in mid-Jan as a Valentine’s Day gift. It wasn't supposed to be here until early Feb, but it got here way early! Hopefully now that the nook is in stores, more cases will be available in stores, too.
  • Thanks for describe about the product.
  • Nice looking device, a lot more attractive then the kindle but still pricey when you figure you'll have to spend $10 a pop for a book on top of the initial purchase price. To get these to take off they need to make e-books available months before the regular addition and come down on the price. The sharing feature is nice as is the added memory.
  • If anyone win nook, pls share your experience.
  • Hehe, I'm quite the opposite. I can't stand digital readers for too long but there's nothing like the smell of a good book! :)

    Till then,

    Jean
  • We switched to a digital reader because my husband goes through books like the wind blows and he doesn’t like the library. He’s a little weird, so overall, it’s cheaper for us to use a digital reader. It’s also a lot easier because when he unexpectedly can’t go to bed one night he can just purchase a new book and it is instantly there.
  • Nice Information .....

  • Its the same model as the ipod. I think I bought my first ipod for $300 and paid $9.99 for every album. I guess the biggest difference is that I'm used to getting my books from a library for free, whereas I've always paid for my music...
  • Nook looks good. Good contest about it.
  • So who was the lucky winner? Anyone from here? :)

    Till then,

    Jean
  • I was trying to do all that but I got lazy... I guess I won;t be winning the contest.
  • Thanks for information about this contest..
  • I will participate in this contest for win a nook.

I am not able to copy and paste from Barnes and Noble Nook EReader..?
  • We first discovered Madeline when I had a coupon for a dvd at Target that enabled me to get the dvd for only $1. My daughter loved it. Thank you for the giveaway.
  • I bought a Nook about a month ago. I love it. It is so easy to read and I won't lie, it took me about 15 min to figure out how to use it and how to download ebooks from my library. But once I did, it's been easy reading ever since.

Will history books longer after our time note 2010 as when the great US started its downward spiral 2 oblivion?
  • I would first download “Secrets of Eden” – the new one out by Chris Bohjalian. I loved his first book so I’m looking forward to the second.

I don't understand why she is acting that way. If I had done all that for my mother she would be ecstatic. All I can say is to talk to her.
